RACETECH ARE PROUD TO BE PARTNERS WITH ASCOT RACECOURSE AND LOOKING FORWARD TO PROVIDING ENHANCED OUTSIDE BROADCAST AND TECHNICAL SERVICES FOR THEIR 2019 ROYAL MEETING.

RaceTech Cover All Angles at Royal Ascot 2019
Our camera and broadcast crews, many working in full morning dress as per the Ascot dress code, will be capturing every piece of tradition, colour and atmosphere, not to mention the top class racing action in full HD throughout the week.
RaceTech’s delivery for Sky Sports Racing includes additional cameras and technical innovations around the course and stadia including additional starts and finish cameras, use of our drone and the extremely popular “super slo-mo” technology, used both in running and on the finish line.
Ascot TV, the on-course show portrayed across all large screens at the racecourse, is hugely enhanced this year covering everything from the Royal processions, the glamour, fashion, fine dining, and so much that goes on around the course. We also work closely with ITV Racing who have access to all our footage and are providing five days of full coverage showing all races on ITV1. RaceTech deliver a separate production for the Hong Kong Jockey Club and provide independent productions for a number of bookmakers throughout the Royal meeting.
Our first class team of starting stall handlers will be ready to load the international array of top class horses and jockeys safely into the stalls. As a special addition, one of our team will be wearing a “head-cam” in order to capture close ups of the start procedure for ITV Racing.
On the finish line the RaceTech reverse angle camera will be in use to assist the judge. Amongst the many new innovations provided at Ascot, RaceTech’s large replay touch screens are available in selected facilities to view and enjoy again past races.
