RaceTech, racing’s specialist technical facilities provider, is among the organisations relieved to be getting back on track this week following the sport’s enforced Equine Influenza break.
Having recently secured contracts to work across all Britain’s 60 racecourses the company has been busy taking on new recruits and will be deploying an expanded workforce across its fleet. Almost 20 new positions have been created, the majority of which are within the Outside Broadcast sector, and range from graduate trainee positions to management roles. These are spread between the company’s Raynes Park headquarters and regional bases at Newcastle, Warwick and York.
RaceTech CEO John Bozza said, “We are delighted to be able to create these new roles and in particular to be able to provide career opportunities for young people to join the racing industry. RaceTech’s daily operations cover a wide range of broadcast and technical solutions at locations right across the United Kingdom, and in a variety of environments. Our dedicated teams throughout the UK have the additional satisfaction of knowing that they are helping to keep British racing at the forefront of technological development.”
